FFXI - Munching Memoriesby =suzuran

This is my submission to the FFXI fanart contest 2009. XD

I don't usually have confidence in winning contests, but none the less, this piece was a ton of fun to work on, although painting the food was painful cause I wished it was all real and on my table right now!

And even if I don't win, even if you don't play FFXI, I hope this pic at least made you smile or laugh.

The most memorable moments I've had in the 6 years of playing FFXI were always really funny ones, so I thought I'd keep it going.

I hear ya, I is a tarutaru, my imagination of a mimic and a tarutaru are as followed: Trip a mimic, it opens up and sticks it's tongue out, said tongue whips around your waist and yanks you in, it burps and spits you out KOed X,x

you made me miss playing FFXI :C

bf and i play a lot on and off, it's our favorite game!

But SE has been.. lame lately with customer service.

so we had quit just before the latest expansion came out ;c

I'm amazed that you find the time to level so much (and play so much) and to play FF, since it's such a time sink xD

what server were you guys on?

The latest expansion is awesome. XPing is so easy now

If you go with the right group, you can get from lv75 to 80 and capped in 4 hours

oh wow, that's so fast, holy crap xD

i was reading somewhere that people were taking like level 35 people with them, and after like.. idk, 5 hours of exping (Which for FFXI isn't a lot. xD )
they were like level 67 or something O:
And the higher people were like almost capped

i'm bummed that i missed out on it, i'm missing ffxi a lot lately, but since they have that stupid charge we can't afford to reactivate right now. (where they make you pay 15 for the month, even if there's like 2 days left, then 15 for the next month >< so lame ; ; )
we played on a few servers...
Our 'current' server is Unicorn, but we've played on Pandemonium and odin for a while.. and.. gosh, i can't remember the others. xD
we spent a majority of our time on those three though.
i didn't like odin much, a lot of people there were fake two faced jerks ~_~

how is gilgamesh? popular server?
